Future South Extension
According to the Calgary Transit 20 Year Plan, an LRT extension beyond Highway 22X is planned to begin construction in 2020 with completion in 2021. This project is expected to cost at least $82 million. This project is currently unfunded. The February 2004 revision of the Plan has excluded this project from the 20-year timeline. This project will likely be completed beyond 2023.
